Hilarious.  I’ve always thought he was hilarious.  Tim and I first met at college…and it probably began with a joke.  Tim’s sense of humor is like mine…a little dry…a little quirky…and a little boisterous. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there’s just something about a guy who can make you double over with laughter.  It’s pure entertainment.

When I found out that Tim was engaged…I was dying to get to know the lucky lady.  And sure enough…she is a match made in heaven for him.  She’s relaxed, sweet, and laughs at all of his jokes.  She could not be more perfect for him, and I’m so happy they found each other.

Sweet. And…a little sassy too…Berit is my kind of girl.  And her personality is addictive…you take a little sip…and you end up being thirsty for more.  I can see why Mike ended up in her snare….she is adorable.  I’m so excited for their wedding day…they are going to have a relaxed and beautiful day…and in a way, that is a parallel to their personalities.  They are perfect together.

Laughing…we did a lot of laughing during this session.  I love it when my “job” consists of clicking and giggling…
This is perfection.
Isn’t she lovely?
Thanks for making this session so fun…you two are awesome!

Hawaii.  They said their initial vows in Hawaii….and I cried a little when I realized they were virtually going there alone with their parents.  I wanted to go too.  But, photographing their wedding back home was a close, second best ๐Ÿ™‚  The theme of their day was bright gorgeous colors and a tropical feel.  The weather was perfect for their outdoor wedding at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

Her laughter is contagious…you cannot look at her smile without smiling yourself…
Everywhere you look at the Arboretum there is a picture-perfect spot…
Before the ceremony started…I got a little time alone with Alisha…and it was breath-taking…
Rubber. Chicken. In. A. Wedding. Dress. (Need I say more?)
Hazeltine was looking gorgeous with perfect uplighting to match their day…
After lots of yelling…directions…and more yelling…they almost got it. ๐Ÿ˜‰
And my favorite sparkler shot yet.  Droolicious.  (Yep, it’s a word.  Use it.)
Ryan and Alisha…you know what they say…
If life hands you lemons…make lemonaide.  And, I know you two will.

Suzan Kammer - Simply beautiful, both the couple and the pictures! The shots were amazing, you caught all the background that we loved and planned for, but were unable to enjoy as the day just flew by! Loved the final sparkler picture. Thanks so much!

Yesterday.  It feels just like yesterday that I was having my senior pictures taken.  I won’t ever forget that day.  It is an experience that every girl remembers…a day to feel glamorous…like a model.  And a reason to go shopping!!

Katie is one gorgeous girl…and it was so fun photographing her.  She is as smart as she is pretty (so obviously, she’s extremely intelligent).  I have no doubts that she is going to be a huge success in whatever she chooses to do in this world.

Jan - I love the pix where Katie is smiling. Don’t like the B & W or sepia….she deserves COLOR. The CU’s, in color, sitting or standing in the grass are my favorites.

Auntie.  It’s a word that is so common at our house.  “Auntie. Auntie. Auntie.”  My son chants it over and over again…because he’s got two amazing aunties and loves them both dearly.  He practically worships them (and he’s not even 2 yet).  So, when I finally became an auntie for the first time a few weeks ago…my heart started doing flip flops at the realization that finally…I can be the worshiped “Auntie”.  And if it takes malts, candy, afternoon trips to the zoo, and midnight movies to make this a reality…I’m all in.  I’m in love with this little gem and there is nothing that can replace that feeling of finally being an Auntie.

(For those of you who are wondering what ever happened to the pictures of my own little (not-so-recent anymore) newborn….her photos will make it on the blog eventually…just stay posted…)

This was the first thing I bought for this little brainiac-to-be…seeing as how my sister is an intelligent doctor…I’m guessing her daughter is going to follow right down the same path…
