Fishtale Photography » Tales of Life. Tales of Love.

A decade.  I have known this beautiful girl for a decade now…and how time flies.  We were once roommates in college, worrying about tests and doing rounds (yeah, we were nerdy RAs). And now, we are on to bigger things…like raising babies.  I’m SO excited for these two to be parents…they are going to be exceptional at it.  And their baby couldn’t be getting blessed with a better family!

Sarah, you are glowing…
About halfway through their session, it started raining.  But it was so pretty out, we kept at it…and I think the misty air was worth the slight chill.  It was beautiful.

Baby Blue. His eyes couldn’t be any bluer.  And he is a heart melter.  One look, and you’ll be hooked.  I have been photographing this couple since their wedding day…and it is an honor and a joy to watch them grow as a little family.  It is funny how life changes…and how being a parent becomes all you know…  I love it.

Breathtaking. The bride. The venue. The day.  Everything about this day took my breath away.  Not only was Nikki one of the most gorgeous brides I have ever seen, but The Enchanted barn was simply that…enchanting.  I loved everything about this wedding, including the adorable couple.  They are by definition a power couple.  They are both extremely intelligent…and talented.  Their kids are probably going to rule the world…and if I have any say in it, they will have babies soon, so I can set my own children up on dates with theirs (when they are 30).

One of the most fun parts of their day for me was seeing two other couples at this wedding that I’ve photographed nuptials for.  I love watching my couples being in love, out there, in the real world.  It makes my heart happy.

So – without further ado – I give you Matt and Nikki…

And now we play…who wore it better: vintage truck edition…
This picture just totally gets to me.  Notice the little girl in the bottom right corner.  She is just in awe of the bride…it totally sums up the day for me.
Nikki has the sweetest relationship with her dad.  I love it.
Somehow the dance party turned into a “twerk-out”…
This next series is why I create…
Matt and Nikki…may your relationship forever have that element of enchantment…

Platinum. It is the color of her hair…and the quality of her personality.  I’ve known this little girl since the very day she came out…and she is a shining light.  She is so incredibly adorable and quite a little ham.  And, she couldn’t have been blessed with better parents.  They are dear friends of mine, and I’m thankful that we’ve stayed in touch throughout the years.  I’m so grateful to have people like them in my life.

One of the best parts about having a toddler is the unexpected love…the unexpected kisses…and the abundant and excited hugs…
If you’re wearing a skirt…you’ve gotta twirl in it…

Fluffy.  She’s soft, and fluffy…and a princess, and my son Winston adores her.  No, I’m not talking about my sister-in-law…(although some of those adjectives could be used to describe her)…but I’m talking about her baby…her doggie Sophie.  It was time to get some updated photos of my sibling-in-laws…and of course, it was only fitting that their furbaby be a part of the shoot.

Apparently, I bore Sophie…
Brooke and Steve, you guys still have it!
