Mike & Angela…married | St. Paul Great Hall Wedding Photographer

The Cathedral.  She knew she wanted to get married there when she was a little girl.  It was a dream of hers.  A dream that came true.  When Mike proposed to her on the steps of the Cathedral, it all but sealed the deal.  Angela and Mike had the kind of wedding that was stately…regal…and yet…still so down to earth and real.  Sentiments of love were freely flowing throughout the day.  Both of these individuals are driven, kind-hearted, and entirely loyal to all of their friends and family.

Angela’s dress definitely took the cake as one of my favorites this season.  It reminded me of a fairytale…

Smitten bridesmaids…this bride was absolutely stunning…
When we first talked, Angela was set on waiting to see Mike until the ceremony…but the closer the day came, the more it became apparent that it just wasn’t going to work with the flow of their day.  So, we wanted to create that “first” moment feel at the church to be as close to the real deal as possible…and it was.  It was so romantic to watch her walk up the steps to him…
This sweet little thing made it down the aisle all by her self!  I hope someone gave her a treat…she was so incredibly good!!
My favorite shot from the day…and one of my favorites of all time…this is her grandpa’s precious car…and it was so worth it even for the few short moments they had it…

For the love of music…
What kind of groomsmen steal your wallet on your wedding day?  These kind…
The Great Hall was looking absolutely amazing with many many thanks to Lula-ru Weddings!!
Have you ever seen so many priests at a wedding??  They serenaded the reception room moments before dinner…it was beautiful…
And the party started off with a bang…orchestrated by one of my favorite bands…Synergy!
Mike and Angela…I don’t even know where to begin.  The two of you are amazing…and I am so thankful to have been able to get to know the two of you…

Charlie Mattingly - One of the greatest weddings in all of history. At least in the eyes of the father of the groom.
