Dustin & Rachel…married | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

White.  He was wearing white on his wedding day.  That’s right…he. She and he were a vision in white. My first groom in all-white…and it was so fitting for him.  If you knew Dustin and Rachel…this little tid-bit of info would make you smile.  Because, as is typical for the two of them, they both had a vision for their day.

When I first met with Rachel and her mom, I knew we were going to be a match.  Rachel is the goddaughter of one of the couples in this world I most adore…and she is from Hastings…which is always a plus in my book.

Surrounded by friends, family and lots of love…their day was perfect.  Despite a crisp chill in the air…the outdoor ceremony couldn’t have been more beautiful.  The skies were blue and the birds were singing.  Rachel and Dustin’s entire day took place at the gorgeous Brackett’s Crossing, which made for a more relaxing day…

Her dress was gorge…
This girl may have been one of the most anxious-to-get-in-her-dress brides I have ever had…it was adorable…
A beautiful setting for a first look…
Rachel…you made one stunning bride…
One super fun golf cart ride later…and we were in this private little setting…
My favorite picture from the day…they just belong together…
Ok…maybe these are my favorite pictures from the day…
This was also a first for me…the bride jumping alone with the girls…and then a few moments later…the boys wanted their turn…and they insisted on keeping the bouquets for this one…
Rachel and her daddy…(who, I must add, is one of the sweetest men I have ever met…)
Th
e uber-talented Patrick Sieben performed at their wedding…it is always like candy for your ears listening to him sing & play…
I have to put this set of pics on here…Rachel’s parents may have kissed more than I’ve seen a set of parents kiss at their child’s wedding…and their loving relationship really touched my heart…
This. Ice. Sculpture. Was. Killer.  It held all of their desserts.  I was in awe.
Another first…I’ve never seen a popcorn bar at a wedding…it was seriously so clever, and the perfect pre-dinner snack for guests…what a fabulous idea…
And then…it was time for the party…
Rachel and Dustin…please never stop being yourselves.  The two of you are awesome together.
