Brian & Kate…married | Saint Paul Wedding Photographer

It was another hot day….and another perfect wedding.  Kate and Brian have that sweet kind of connection that many strangers might look at and say…is that for real?  The answer is YES.  They are completely sweet to each other.  In fact, I don’t know if I’ve ever even seen them chide the other with a joke…they are just that good-natured.

Being the kind of couple that saves the world one life at a time (he’s a police officer and she’s a teacher)….they definitely make an unbelievable pair.  It was such an honor to be a part of their day…and to witness not only the love that they share…but to hear all of the wonderful things all of their friends and family had to say about them.

The day started out at fivetwosix salon in St. Paul…

Meanwhile, Brian patiently waited in the heat for the much-anticipated First Look…which took place with the Ceremony at the beautiful Our Lady of Victory Chapel at St. Catherine’s University.
I have many favorites from their day…but this one hits the top of the chart…
Kate is glamorous without even trying…she is so naturally beautiful, it takes your breath away….oh and the flowers were also stunning, and were, of course, done by my favorite florist, Liane Laurion of Hyacinth Events.  I loved the use of the succulents in all of the bouquets….more of those to come in a bit…
Didn’t the ladies look amazing in that color??  I was instantly in love with those dresses….
Before heading to their reception, we made a pit-stop to take pictures where Brian proposed…pretty romantic…
And now, for the reception…at one of my most favorite places, the Minnesota Science Museum…there’s just something about this place that draws me in and brings up those wonderful memories of childhood visits…musical stairs…and dinosaurs…
More of Hyacinth Event’s beautiful work…
Ok – this was definitely my request…and they so willingly accommodated…thank you…I love fossils…
As the evening came and the sun went down…the air started to cool off and it was a welcomed time to step out onto the patio for a few last shots of the day…
Perfection.  That is what the two of you are.  Thank you for letting me be a part of it.
